Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was the first to broadcast live directly through the New York Stock Exchange - is well-known for a number of her highly successful shows. Being a veteran broadcaster having a total of two decades of experience covering economies and business Bartiromo played a key role in establishing CNBC as one of the most prestigious in its business and economic segment. The lady's highly successful journalism professional career suggests she was meant to be in this field. Maria was a young girl who, at the time was not sure of her career choice. The next she wanted to become an interior decorator. But when she discovered the thrill journalism has to offer, she had no intention of going to go back. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film, TV and on stage since the latter part of 1970. A gifted thespian she has been performing professionally for her early teens for the past 27 years. In 1990, she performed her debut on stage in an Off Broadway production in The Big Funk written by John Patrick Shanley. In the following year she was cast in her first TV role in The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, she received her big break by being a part of Basic Instinct as a minor character. In the film The Firm however that she was cast as the female lead for the very first time, and this was also against famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. The 1990s saw her professional career included working with top Hollywood actors like Gwyneth on Sliding doors Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes, and Julie Andrews Relative Values. Most recently, she played her character of Alex Blake, Dr. Alex Blake in Criminal Minds.
