I addressed the person I was physically abused by. Not an easy task. After a lot of prayer and fasting, I proclaimed on the phone that I forgave the man and, although I wasn't in any way guilty, I did ask for forgiveness. It wasn't a case of justifying myself, I just asked for forgiveness. Mariste Urach describes her reaction in a interview with Globo. She describes her reaction to the abuse that occurred to her daughter. Urach travelled to the city that the pedophile is in within the inside of Rio Grande do Sul willing to retaliate against him.
