Colson Baker (or Machine Gun Kelly) is well-known for his unique style of rapping. Baker was born in Houston, TX U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents of English Scottish German descent. The first few years of his life, Baker traveled with both of his missionary parents. James Colson Baker, his father, was depressed and unemployment. His mother Sonia Alane had left him as he was nine. Baker moved to Denver with his father and stayed for a time. Baker suffered bullying from other children in his neighborhood because of his poor living conditions. When he reached the sixth grade, Baker started to learn rap. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April on the 22nd of April, 1990 in Texas. The songs he composed are known to fuse modern hip-hop and rock and alternative music. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010, released four mixes between 2007 and 2010. Then in the latter half of 2011, this Cleveland rapper was a household name when he changed from self-releasing mixtapes to signing with well-known label labels. From there his career skyrocketed and each album charting in the top 10.
